This dark blue, textured tie can be seen in one of McGarrett's most famous pictures. Here he is pensive and holding a lethal and totally old school explosive device.
Even more explosive, this is the earliest known tie to survive the series and is first seen on McGarrett in Episode #1 "Full Fathom Five" which aired September 26, 1968.
You will also see it worn in nearly every episode of the first season: #2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,11,12,13,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,23...that's 20 episodes!
Not to mention the several more times it appears in season 2. If the original late 60s blue suit with narrow lapels could be located and paired with this tie, it would be an amazing sight to see!
